BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Testimonial

  • "I was referred to Dr. Dalya several years ago by a close friend. Prior to seeing Dr. Dalya, I had suffered chronic lower back pain (sometimes quite severe) on and off for 20 years. I had been treated by other chiropractors and practitioners generally resulting in limited and short term relief from symptoms.

Dr. Dalya treated me with a combination of chiropractic care, physical therapy and exercise to strengthen the lower back and "core" muscles. The results have been simply amazing. My chronic back pain has simply gone away!

Dr. Dalya is a very dedicated, competent, caring and fun person. I highly recommend her."
